Justine Wolitzer is a Senior Research Associate at Public Profit. She is responsible for designing evaluation studies, managing implementation, conducting site visits, facilitating meetings and trainings, and authoring findings reports.

Justine has served as the project lead for a number of Public Profit’s evaluations, including: an evaluation of the City of San Pablo’s Beacon Community Schools Initiative; an evaluation of United Way's SparkPoint financial coaching programs; an evaluation of the San Jose Museum of Art's Art Portal, a mobile art studio for community engagement; and a capacity building partnership with The Marine Mammal Center focused on their Ocean Ambassador program for middle school youth. Justine also served on a project funded by the S. H. Cowell Foundation, with supplementary support from the Y & H Soda Foundation, to create a toolkit for nonprofits to use to select the right data system for them.

Prior to joining Public Profit, Justine served as a policy consultant to the San Francisco Human Services Agency, supporting the implementation of a citywide diaper bank. Justine has over a decade of experience working for a variety of nonprofit organizations in the Bay Area. Ms. Wolitzer earned her BA degree in Sociology at UC Santa Cruz, and her MA degree in Public Policy at UC Berkeley.
