Ava Elliott is the Senior Managing Research Assistant at Public Profit. She is responsible for data management and analyses. She also provides administrative support for her projects, including scheduling, preparing materials for, and co-facilitating meetings and trainings.

Ava works closely on a number of Public Profit’s evaluations, including: an evaluation of the citywide network of publicly-funded after school programs in San Francisco Unified School District; an evaluation of the City of San Pablo’s Beacon Community Schools Initiative; an evaluation of the San Jose Museum of Art's Art Portal, a mobile art studio for community engagement , an evaluation of Too Small to Fail’s Early Math program, a program aimed at helping children start kindergarten prepared to succeed; an evaluation capacity building project with California School-Age Consortium’s; and an evaluation for the Center for Youth Wellness in San Francisco on a public education campaign called Stress Health which aims to raise awareness among parents and caregivers of the negative effects of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and toxic stress in children, and ways for them to counter these effects.

Ava started her time at Public Profit working as a Project Assistant. Prior to that, she was in the legal field, working at a small law office as well as a District Attorney’s office. Ms. Elliott earned her BA in Political Science at the University of Colorado, Boulder.
