Ava Elliott is a Managing Senior Research Assistant at Public Profit. She is responsible for data management and analyses. She also provides administrative support for her projects, including scheduling, preparing materials for, and co-facilitating meetings and trainings.

Ava works closely on a number of Public Profit’s evaluations, including: a capacity building partnership with the youth dance, music, art, and activism nonprofit Loco Bloco; an evaluation of the citywide network of publicly-funded after school programs in San Francisco Unified School District; an evaluation of a statewide migrant pupil tutoring program and bilingual/bicultural teacher training program (California Mini-Corps); building a dashboard and infographic for Partnership for Children and Youth’s HousED initiative, which provides support and training for staff working at expanded learning programs in public and affordable housing communities throughout the Bay Area; and YMCA of San Francisco evaluation capacity-building project which is building the internal capacity to monitor and evaluate the Association’s diverse range of youth development programs.

Ava started her time at Public Profit working as a Project Assistant. Prior to that, she was in the legal field, working at a small law office as well as a District Attorney’s office. Ms. Elliott earned her BA in Political Science at the University of Colorado, Boulder.
